While a few bouts with mastitis may have left Spirit with a a lack of production to show for, she certainly has proven to us in her offspring that this line is capable of being productive, strong, powerful dairy animals when bred correctly. Spirit joined us in early 2020 and has earned herself a forever place on our homestead. She is a very large and impressive animal with ample strength of bone, yet she does not lack femininity. She is open-ribbed, strong and level over her back and rump. She has tremendous width and depth. Our goals for her and her line are to maintain this strength and general appearance, and improve capacity and length and smoothness of fore, and increase production.
